Yesterday, Thursday 10th September, we recognised National R U OK? Day at St Augustine's with activities, videos and conversations creating opportunities to engage and check in with others.
R U OK? Day is an important reminder that a simple conversation can make a real difference. Across all ages, life can bring challenges and sometimes the people around us may be struggling without us knowing.
Creating a supportive community where we feel comfortable checking in, listening and asking, “Are you OK?” helps remind us that no one has to face things alone.
Let’s take the time to connect, check in and let the people around us know we care.

Father's Day Stall Thank You
We would like to thank everyone involved in making last Friday's Father's Day Stall a success, in particular Bec Ciavarella and Taleera De Pasquale who coordinated shopping and volunteers for the day. Thanks also to all those who came along to assist on the morning of the stall. Our students love shopping for their special people on our stall days. We hope your children found something special for their beaut bloke.
Years 5-8 Community Mass Invitation
Families are invited to join with our Years 5-8 Community to celebrate Mass at 9.10am in the Church next Thursday, 17th September.
End of Term Assemblies
We warmly invite members of our College community to celebrate our learning for Term 3 with our F-4 and 5-8 Communities next Friday, 18th September, in the Brigidine Centre.

Get your Purple and your gold coin ready
We will be celebrating Purple Day in support of The Gift Kyabram on the last day of term, next Friday, 18th September.
Students and staff are encouraged to come to school dressed in purple.
Don't forget your Gold Coin donation for The Gift Kyabram - supporting people in our local community affected by cancer.
Last day of Term 3
Term 3 will finish next Friday, 18th September. School will finish at 2.20pm on this day.
Term 4 commencement
The first day of Term 4 for all students will be Monday 5th October.
Caritas Courage Cup students and staff footy
Our Caritas Courage Cup Students and Staff football match is on next week. At lunchtime on the last day of term, Friday 18th September, all Years 5-12 students will attend the match at the Kyabram Recreation Reserve.
Our two teams, St Augustine's and Ky Bombers, will consist of a mix of Years 11 and 12 students as well as staff. The Courage Cup has been a calendar highlight in recent years and we look forward to another exciting match played in true St Augustine's spirit, with skill, sportsmanship, mateship and fun.
We welcome families to come along to the Rec Reserve at lunchtime to cheer on our teams.
Lost Property
Our lost property box currently contains items including school jumpers and jackets, balls, drink bottles and lunch boxes.
Please check for any items your child may be missing before the end of term. All unclaimed items will be donated to Vinnies during the school holidays.
You can find the lost property box outside the door between the College Office and F-4 quadrangle.
Every Day Counts
A gentle reminder that attendance matters. We know that sometimes it can’t be avoided, but where possible, we ask that you please book non-urgent appointments (e.g. haircuts etc.) for before or after school, or during the holidays. This will help prevent your child from missing out on valuable learning time. If your child is going to be away, please add this to PAM or let the office know.
School hats
As per the College SunSmart Policy, from Term 3, Week 7, school hats are required to be worn when outside at lunchtime and recess and for outdoor class activities.
Please check your children have their St Augustine's College hat at school with them.
New hats can be purchased from the College Office for $15 - eftpos or cash (correct amount is appreciated where possible).

Croquet Club parking
We appreciate the Croquet Club allowing families to use their parking area and kindly remind everyone to please use the pathways and avoid walking across the croquet greens.
