We are thrilled to share some updates with our school community!
Easter Raffle 🐰🍫
Our upcoming Easter Raffle is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever! We would like to sincerely thank all of our parents for their kind donations and because of your generosity, we have been able to increase the number of our prizes! Every prize includes some delicious Easter treats, and we are excited to offer a major prize valued at over $200, which also includes fantastic vouchers! Welcome BBQ 🌭
Yesterday we hosted our annual welcome BBQ as a way to give back to our families and bring everyone together over an Aussie classic - sausages in bread. We wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who came to join us yesterday! It was wonderful to see so many new and familiar faces from our school community.
We also wanted to take the time to thanks the businesses who generously donated towards the BBQ.

Second-Hand Uniform Shop 👕
Our second-hand uniform has been a great success once again! The shop continues to be a valuable resource for families, and we thank all parents for their ongoing support -whether that is through donations or purchases. We will continue to accept uniform donations and hold regular shop opportunities throughout the year.
Mother’s Day 💐
Mother’s Day is fast approaching and we are excited to be hosting a special Mother’s Day Breakfast on Friday the 8th of May! It will be held from 8AM over in the gym! We thoroughly enjoy hosting small events like this to give back to all of our wonderful Mum's and Care givers so if you can, come down and have a cup of tea and yummy treat on us!
Our wonderful PA members have also been busy sourcing some really wonderful gift options for our upcoming Mother’s Day stall which will also be held on Friday the 8th of May. Stay tuned for more information via compass - (NO CASH will be accepted)
Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) ♻️
Our CDS initiative continues to generate much-needed funds towards projects like our buddy benches. We encourage students to bring along cans or bottles (no glass) every Friday to place in the designated bins around the school. Code C00073524 can be used directly at deposit locations, allowing contributions to go straight to the school. We are currently at $276.50 Keep bringing in your plastic bottles and cans. We appreciate all the support from our wonderful community.
School Holiday Activity – Funtopia Carrum Downs 🎉
Funtopia Carrum Downs is running a “Drop and Go” holiday program. This fully supervised session is designed for children aged 5 to 10 and includes a climbing lesson, access to a large adventure playground, healthy snacks, and a dedicated breakout space.For more details and booking information, please visit:https://funtopiaworld.com.au/drop-go-holiday-program/
Volunteers and Contributions 🙌
We have lots of amazing events planned for Banyan Fields school /community. The Parents Association are always looking for volunteers to help with events, activities and to grow our wonderful team of parents. Whether you can spare a little or a lot of time, or know of local businesses that are able to get involved, all help is greatly appreciated and welcomed.
