Briefing

  • I hope you enjoyed the long weekend.
  • It was lovely to see photos of staff who left early last week to get a message or attend their child’s basketball session. 
  • We know this doesn’t stop concerns regarding student behaviour. Please keep yourselves safe where possible. Keep a safe distance and try not to intervene. You can of course use physical intervention if needed but not grabbing to prevent students from leaving the room. We will redo the protective intervention training this year. We will also post a reminder of the departments policies and advice. 
  • Whole school photos in Term 3.
  • 50 Year Golden Jubilee next Monday 11:30-2:00. Yard duties as normal. No PL tonight. Birthday Party Plan - Helena. Letter and social story. Birthday activities (hats, fairy bread…)
  • Newsletter. Will go out on Monday for the 50th. 
  • Nishantha starting ES placement with Ane on Wednesday. Coming Weds and Thurs weekly
