Thank You

As we come to the end of another school year, I would like to extend my sincere thank you to our entire Drysdale Primary School community for the commitment, care and effort shown throughout the year.

To our students, thank you for your enthusiasm, resilience and willingness to learn. You have worked hard, supported one another and should be very proud of your achievements and growth this year.

To our staff, your dedication, professionalism and genuine care for our students continues to make Drysdale PS such a positive and supportive place to learn. The time, energy and passion you bring to your work each day is greatly appreciated.

To our families and carers, thank you for your ongoing partnership with the school. Your support, encouragement and involvement play a vital role in the success and wellbeing of our students, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us.

Finally, to our wider school community, including volunteers and Parents and Friends, thank you for the many ways you contribute to making Drysdale PS a welcoming and connected community.

As the year draws to a close, I wish everyone a safe, relaxing and enjoyable holiday break. We look forward to welcoming students back in the new year, refreshed and ready for another year of learning and growth.

Our Volunteers are the backbone of any school is the community that supports it, and we are very lucky to have a wonderful team of volunteers that support the school in a huge number of ways.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to:

The team that runs the:

Second-Hand Uniform Shop, this is an awesome resource for families, and we appreciate the team.

Parents and Friends, where do you start with P&F. They are an amazing team that coordinate/run/organise so many events at the school. Without them Colour Run, Superman and Superwoman stalls, Bunnings BBQ, Trivia Night and so many more things simply don’t happen. Their commitment to making Drysdale PS a great place to be is outstanding.

Drysdale Community Market– the market is a long-standing tradition at Drysdale and the support of school council to run this event is greatly appreciated.

Classroom Helpers – this year has seen a great increase in the number of classroom helpers. Listening to students read, helping on excursions, going to camp and all the other jobs – you are very much appreciated by the teachers and the school.

School Council– this group of volunteers work away quietly in the background helping set the big picture and the direction for DPS. They are a great link between school and parents, and I am thankful for their advice and counsel throughout the year as we work together to improve life at school for the students.

Potato Fair– again another unheralded group who work for months in the background putting this together. We truly appreciate everybody who has donated time at school throughout the year and we look forward to engaging more people to help out next year.

150 Year Committee - thank you for all our volunteers who help put together our 150 year celebration day. It was an event that the whol community were able to celebrate with us.

Surplus Supplies

If you have left over unwanted classrooms supplies we would be grateful if they could be donated back to the school. These donations will be used to help students that their families might be experiencing financial hardship and will be gratefully received.
