Term 4, 2025 Week 9

Kia ora e te whānau,

As we reach the final week of the school year, it is a great time to reflect on the amazing achievements our tamariki have made throughout 2025. We are incredibly proud of their progress, resilience, and hard work. Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue building on this momentum as we confidently implement the new curriculum and support our students to achieve even more success.

This week, our trip to the Albany Arena was a highlight. Students had the opportunity to play on the indoor playground and learn how to play pickleball—a sport they absolutely loved! We are now looking at purchasing a pickleball kit for 2026 so we can continue this learning at school.

Today we welcomed Surf Life Saving New Zealand, who taught our students important water safety skills. As we head into the summer holidays, please remember to keep your whānau safe around the water: always swim between the flags and be aware that some beaches can be unpredictable.
