Term 3 Week 5

We're at the end of week five and that means we've hit the halfway point of the term. Chatting to some students in the yard today, and they were commenting that time is flying by. They're not wrong. Our Yr 9/10 basketballers finished 3rd at the interschool sports meet on Monday, a great result. We also got to celebrate a victory for our Debating team on Wednesday night. In other news and happenings, the Yr 10 bake sale on Tuesday was a great success, many happy customers. The Yr 9 students had their Morrisby interviews this week and hopefully some interesting conversations regarding future planning, and our Yr 10s completed their VCE course counselling panels - many wonderful discussions about pathways and career ideas. The VCE Outdoor Ed snow camp should be returning home any minute now, hopefully with some great experiences from their time on the slopes. What a week!

The Week Ahead

Year 11 students will be doing their course selections with the Wurun senior campus leadership team on Tuesday during Study Hall. The Yr 9 cohort will be doing some CPR training on Tuesday with the 'Hero HQ' team and VM students will be learning First Aid on the Friday. Pool club and Games club will occur at lunch times through the week and the SRT are meeting to plan some future events. Looking Further Ahead

Saturday morning 22nd Aug – fruit tree pruning and general garden clean up.

Book week: 24th - 28th of August - a number of events will be running throughout the week including a dress-up day and speling bee invovling teems of stubents and starf. 

Three Way Conferences will take place in week 9 on the 9th of September.
