On October 7th we had the careful cobbers, and their drivers give everyone a ride, from preps, to the year 5-6s. the drivers present took it in shifts to drive different year levels in 30-minute blocks. They started driving at 10 am and followed until 2 pm. This is what classes got driven 3-4 T, 1-2M and 5-6S got driven by Alannah, Mason, Max, & Taylor. Next Justine, Paige & Archie got to drive the classes, 3-4R, and Preps leaving last, I (Bella), craig, Jemma & Maddi drove 1-2H and 5-6S.

 Careful Cobbers

On the 7th of October, we had the Careful Cobbers at Numurkah Primary School. Careful Cobbers are small cars that only move forwards and are controlled using a hand brake. They are fun to drive, but you also must concentrate and make sure you are driving safely.

My group included Mason, Max, Alannah and me. We had the chance to drive students from 5/6 and 1/2M around the school. We took turns being both drivers and passengers, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

One of the best parts of driving the Careful Cobbers was getting to meet and talk to lots of different people. While you are driving, you get to chat with students you may not usually spend much time with, so it is also a good way to get to know other people around the school.

I would recommend that the Year 5 students sign up to be Careful Cobber drivers next year. You get to learn how to control the cars, work with other people and have plenty of fun at the same time. It is a great experience and something I would happily do again.
