As we move through Term 4, there is a real sense of activity across every corner of the College. While students are busy completing assessments, practical tasks, and preparing for upcoming events, staff are working hard behind the scenes to ensure the year finishes strongly.

The farm has remained a hive of activity, with students involved in shearing, hay and silage operations, and planting vegetables that will support our production programs in the months ahead.

In our Trades area, a mechanical issue with a piece of equipment has created some challenges and delayed the completion of several student projects. Despite this, our Trades staff have shown flexibility by adapting their programs to keep students engaged and progressing toward completing their work.

This week also saw our annual Residential Christmas Celebration. A big thank you to everyone involved in creating such a memorable event for our students. Special thanks to Santa and the Grinch for appearing and bringing plenty of laughter and festive spirit to the evening. I would also like to recognise our amazing kitchen team for preparing a spectacular Christmas dinner. The effort that goes into creating these opportunities for students is greatly appreciated, and our residential staff deserve congratulations for their dedication to making these events so special.

As Graduation draws closer, the pace across the College continues to increase. Our front office team is busily preparing graduation files and finalising the many details required to ensure the event runs smoothly. Teaching staff are completing final grading and reporting, while our farm staff are focused on providing students with every opportunity to complete their competencies.

I would like to sincerely thank all staff for their dedication, professionalism and commitment to our students. Their collective efforts ensure that every student is supported to finish the year successfully and that our graduating Year 12 students can celebrate their achievements.

As we head into the final weeks of the school year for our Year 11 students, I encourage everyone to keep supporting one another and take a moment to reflect on how much we've already achieved this year.
