Happy Father’s Day!
We would like to wish all the wonderful Dads, Grandfathers and special people in our students’ lives a very Happy Father’s Day! We hope you had a fantastic day celebrating with your families and enjoyed some special moments together.
We really hope everyone enjoyed spending time with the students at the PA Father’s Day Afternoon Tea and that our special guests enjoyed the thoughtful gifts chosen from our Father’s Day Stall.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make these celebrations possible. We loved seeing our school community come together to celebrate the special people who mean so much to our students. 🙂
🌧️ Wet Weather Activities
Following the results of our recent Community Survey, the PA identified three main focus areas that we have been working towards improving within our school community. We are very proud to announce that we have already ticked one off the list! 🎉
We have gathered a range of new games and activities for each year level to enjoy during wet weather timetables, and while wet weather days may not always be as exciting as the sunny spring days we are looking forward to, we are excited about the opportunity for students to try out some of the new and fun activities we have been able to provide! We hope these activities bring a little extra fun to those rainy days at school! ☔🎲🎨
📅 Upcoming PA Events
🦺 Working Bee
Thursday, 17 September | 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Our recent Working Bees have made a huge difference to the appearance and safety of our school grounds, and we couldn't do it without the support of our wonderful volunteers. Our next Working Bee will focus on repairing the potholes on the oval, helping to create a safer space for students to enjoy during sport and play. If you're able to spare an hour or two, we'd love to have you join us. Every helping hand makes a difference!
🌭 Footy Day Sausage Sizzle
Friday, 18 September
Get ready to celebrate Footy Day with us! Students are encouraged to wear their favourite sporting team colours to show their support and get into the spirit of the day. Purchases for the sausage sizzle are currently available through the shop on compass.
👕 Second-Hand Uniform Sale
Thursday, 17 September – Before and after school Friday, 18 September – Before school
Our second-hand uniform program continues to be a popular initiative, helping families keep up with growing children while providing an affordable and sustainable option for school uniforms. If you have any uniform items that are no longer needed, we would greatly appreciate your donations, which can be dropped into the school office.
🎉 Trivia Night
Saturday, 21 November
We are eagerly awaiting our upcoming Trivia Night, and the PA has been working hard behind the scenes to make sure it will be a fun and exciting night for everyone! We have some wonderful items up for grabs in our silent auction, which will be held during the Trivia Night, and we can't wait to share them with you.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the local businesses and community supporters who have generously contributed prizes and donations to help make this event possible. Your generosity and support mean so much to our school community. If you own or operate a business, or know of a business that would be interested in supporting our Trivia Night through donations or prizes, we would love to hear from you. Every donation helps us raise funds that can be put back into improving our school and creating positive opportunities for our students.
⭐ Volunteers & Joining the Parents Association
The Parent's Association is always looking for new members and volunteers! Whether you can help regularly or only have the occasional hour to spare, your support makes a real difference to our students and the wider school community. There are plenty of ways to get involved, from helping at events and fundraising activities to assisting behind the scenes.
