Immunisation Program 2024

As part of the National Immunisation Program Year 7 and Year 10 secondary school students can receive free immunisations as part of the Secondary School Immunisation Program.

As part of this program vaccines are given at school by nurse immunisers from Kingston Council.

Students who miss the school session can also access the free vaccines from a GP, or their local council immunisation community service.

We are offering all students in year 10 the opportunity to receive the following free vaccination:

Nimenrix             Meningococcal ACWY     1 dose  

This year for your convenience, we have introduced a new Parent or Guardian online consent system via the Dept of Health’s Central Immunisation records Victoria (CIRV) portal.

• It is important that you let us know if you are consenting YES or NO to the vaccination being done at school. (Please note: Click EDIT to consent or deny vaccination to be done at school)
• Complete a Medicare number where applicable.
• Vaccinations will not be given to a student without Parent or Guardian consent.
