Annual Report to the School Community 2025

The Annual Report provides an opportunity to share the school’s achievements and progress with the school community. The preparation and publication of an Annual Report is a legislative and regulatory requirement for all schools.

The Annual Report is prepared in 2 parts:

  • the performance summary, which details the school’s performance from the past year and trends over time. This is compiled by the department and can be downloaded from the performance summary tab of the Annual Report in SPOT
  • the ‘About our school’ commentary, which is prepared by the principal and outlines the achievements of the school in the previous year.

The Annual Report is endorsed at a meeting of school council and attested to by the principal. It is then presented to the school community via a public meeting. This occurred Wednesday 20th May. Thank-you to all the parents that attended the Public Meeting. This was a great opportunity to celebrate our success, talk about the future direction of the school and discuss areas for improvement.

If did not attend the Public Meeting but would like to read the Annual Report to the School Community (reviewing the 2025 school year), you can do this by clicking the link below.

Parent Matrix

At Greenvale Primary, all students are expected to be respectful, safe, and engaged. These behaviours help make schools a place where everyone can succeed.

As a parent and carer, you play a vital role in helping your child/ren to understand and meet shared behaviour expectations. By modelling and encouraging positive behaviour, you help your child/ren build the skills and habits they need to be successful at school.

At our school, we teach these behaviours through our School Wide Positive Behaviours (SWPBS) Matrices. The Positive Behaviour Expectation Matrix for Students translates our school’s key values (expectations) into expected behaviours. The matrix clarifies what our behaviours should look, sound and feel like. Our expected behaviours are explicitly taught in every classroom and consistently reinforced throughout the school. The matrix is displayed in many locations around the school and referred to regularly with all students.

Just as we have our Positive Behaviour Expectation Matrix for Students, we also have a Positive Behaviour Expectation Matrix for Parents. The Greenvale Primary Positive Behaviour Expectation Matrix for Parents is a community-focused extension of our Schoolwide Positive Behaviour Systems. It outlines clear, actionable expectations for how parents and carers should interact and communicate with others in the school environment.

We encourage all families to make themselves aware of the expected behaviours in our school. Remember we need your help to model and encourage positive behaviour in our school. If you would like a hard copy of this, please request one at our school office.
