Yesterday's School Review visit focused on fieldwork, including classroom visits and discussions with parents, students, and staff. These conversations provided valuable insights, reinforcing our strengths and shaping future priorities.
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting successes and areas for growth. Discussions centred on key goals for the next four years, ensuring a clear direction for improvement.
The final stage on Tuesday, March 4, will include the school reviewer’s findings and the agreement on goals, targets, and actions moving forward.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, your input is invaluable in shaping our school’s future.
Our first Storytime session was a great success! We had 13 preschool children attend, which was fantastic. The Year 6 Library team showed wonderful enthusiasm, reading to the younger children and helping with the activity.
Our next Storytime session is on Monday, March 24, with a Zoo theme. We look forward to another fun and engaging session!
Join us tomorrow night from 5–7 pm for the POPS Welcome Back Evening, hosted by the Parents' Association! Come and connect with families, enjoy food trucks, and explore activities from local sports clubs. We’d love to see as many families as possible!
Please remember that as this is a school event with children present, alcohol is not permitted. Supervision of the children during this event is the responsibility of their parents.
Our first Aussie of the Month (AOM) Assembly is on Monday, February 24, led by the Student Representative Council (SRC).
During the assembly, we will present badges to students selected by peers and teachers for SRC and Active Travel and Waste Warrior leadership groups.
A key highlight is the Aussie of the Month Award, which recognises a student who demonstrates our school values and citizenship, making a positive impact in their class and the wider school community.
Jack E (3O)- School Values Award for demonstrating kindness and assisting a peer in the playground.
Go to the From the Classroom page to read about what has been happening in the Year 1/2 classrooms.
Hopefully, we will see you tomorrow night. Have a great weekend.
