Whole school focus:
We have been working a lot with our students over the start of our new year around routines and expectations in the classroom and around the school, keeping a structured and safe school environment. Our students are responding really well and we can already see many routines established in classrooms across the school.
One of our focusses for our whole school reward system has been kindness and respect. This is about the way we engage with friendships, the way we communicate and the way we treat each other when times are tough and conflict arises, always trying to be respectful in the way we speak and share our views and experiences. It is always lovely when we see our community including our parish, teachers and parents and wider community members modelling this for our students when interacting with each other.
Run Club
We have a strong group of 30-40 students attending run club on a Wednesday morning and are aiming to get over 50 next Wednesday. Run club is for year 3-6, however if parents would like to join in with their children from P-2 they are more than welcome.
Easter Raffle
We have our Easter Raffle coming up and tickets will come home soon. We ask that every if family can please donate a chocolate Easter egg/Bunny/Bilby. Students can bring donations in during the next three weeks. Thank you for your support with this fundraiser with funds going to a new outdoor portable speaker for our community events such as our Easter Bonnet Parade.
Fr Michael
On Sunday 22 March at 11am the parish is celebrating an important moment in the life of our parish as Fr Michael is formally installed as the Parish Priest. The parish warmly encourage members of the St Louis school community to attend if they are able and join in welcoming Fr Michael to our parish. - more details on the Fr Michaeld appointment page
We hope you have a wonderful long weekend
