Assistant Principal's Report

World Teacher's Day

In following from Mrs Uzunovski's remarks I would also like to acknowledge the incredible work and dedication shown by our remarkable teachers each and every day.

The professional work life of a teacher is increasingly demanding and encompasses many aspects and roles. Every teacher at Albion North demonstrates an unwavering commitment, ensuring all of our students receive high quality educational opportunities as well as being supported with social/emotional and wellbeing needs on a daily basis.

Thank you for everything you do, every day, for every child!

Happy World Teacher's Day.

Teeth on Wheels

The Teeth on Wheels van visited the school for two days last week and then again today as part of their 6 monthly examination for students who have registered. Constant check ups are a vital part of ongoing dental health and oral hygiene, ensuring students are aware of the importance of brushing their teeth thoroughly at least two times a day..

Thank you to all the families that registered - we hope the experience for your child/ren was a positive one.

Riding to School

Congratulations to all of the responsible students who have been riding bikes and scooters to school safely. Every student over the past two weeks has been wearing a helmet at all times. Although it may seem like we are 'nagging' we want to ensure the safety of all of our students. Unfortunately traffic (and drivers) can be unpredictable and helmets are a safety measure that we can control - particularly as wearing a helmet is also a legal requirement.

Have a lovely long weekend.
