AFL Victoria Visit & Term 2 Sports Wrap-Up
We were thrilled to welcome AFL Victoria to our school recently, where students from Prep to Year 6 took part in fun and engaging footy clinics. Students in Prep to Year 4 focused on building their fundamental AFL skills, while our Years 5 and 6 students applied their skills in fast-paced AFL 9’s games. It was a fantastic experience for all year levels, and we’re very grateful to AFL Victoria for their time and energy.
If your child is keen to keep the footy fun going, after-school Auskick clinics will begin on Wednesday, August 6th, from 3:45 to 4:45pm on the front playground. You can find the registration link in this week's newsletter.
It’s also been a big and exciting term for sport! Across the school, students have focused on AFL and Hockey, while also representing our school in HOLT Cross Country, Soccer, Netball, and Football. We’re so proud of everyone’s efforts and sportsmanship.
Looking ahead, Term 3 brings more opportunities to shine, with new sports to learn such as Soccer and Netball, as well as upcoming playoffs in Footy, Soccer, Athletics and Hoop Time Basketball. We can't wait!
