Principal's Report

Dear families,

We are certainly on the home stretch now! This term has flown by.

FUN SPORTS DAY

Our Sports Leadership team did a fantastic job of running the Fun Sports Day last Friday. Multiage groups rotated through six activities and then we finished off with a BBQ lunch and Zooper Doopers. Congratulations to the Grade Six students on your leadership and contributions.

ORIENTATION DAY

On Tuesday, all students moved to their 2026 grade and teacher until 12:30pm. This included the kinder children moving into Foundation. We then gathered to listen to the Grade Fives deliver their leadership speeches. They all did a wonderful job and showed much confidence when speaking to the large audience. All students voted for Junior School Council Representatives, School Captains as well as House Captains. The results will be announced at the final assembly next Friday. The Grade Six students attended their secondary schools on this day also. They all returned the following day, full of excitement and stories to tell about new teachers, peers and subjects. 

ELEPHANT ED

Yesterday, a representative from Elephant Ed came to speak to the Grade 5/6s about Body changes during puberty as well as the importance of consent. It was a very engaging session and very valuable.

MANGOES

We had some lovely mangoes arrive on Tuesday. This is the P & F's final fund raiser for the year. They have done an amazing job throughout the year raising funds for our school with $762 profit from this. Thank you to everyone for their support.

GRADE SIX GRADUATION

LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL 

Next week is the last week of the 2025 school year. We will not have assembly on Monday because our final assembly will be on Friday. On Tuesday, all classes will have their Christmas and K.K. parties. Teachers would like all gifts under the tree by next Monday. Please bring a plate of food to share on this day. Our Grade Sixes are going to Funfields next Wednesday and then our Graduation will take place on Thursday evening. Next Friday, our final assembly will begin at 12:30pm and finish for early dismissal at 2:00pm. Bus will run at 2:15pm.
