.St Justin’s Primary School acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia's First People and Traditional Custodians of the land and waterways on which our school stands.

We pay our respects to the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, and their elders past and present, and emerging as we continue to proudly live and learn on their land.

St Justin's Primary School - Celebrating over 40 years of Catholic Education

Dear Families and Friends,

Feast of the Sacred Heart - 12th June

Today is the celebration of the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

This special feast of the Sacred Heart reminds us that the heart of Jesus is full of love for every single person. His love is kind, gentle, patient and welcoming. No one is forgotten. No one is

left out.

The Feast of the Sacred Heart is an important feast day in the Catholic Church.

The Feast of the Sacred Heart falls 19 days after Pentecost, on a Friday.

The symbol of the sacred heart is a human heart encircled with a crown of thorns, a cross, and flames. The heart symbolises how much Jesus’ loves us.

Prayer:

Loving Jesus,

You knew what it meant to feel pressure, rejection and exhaustion,

yet you never stopped loving people.

In a world that can feel divided, distracted and disconnected,

help us to become people who choose empathy over judgement,

truth over appearance, and compassion over indifference.

Teach us to care deeply about others, to stand up for what is right,

and to become young people whose lives make a difference.

May your Sacred Heart shape the way we think, speak and act every day.

Amen.

This term our Year 4 students will receive their First Eucharist on Saturday 20th June at our 6.30pm Mass, or Sunday 21st June at our 10.00am Mass, or Sunday 21st June at our 5.00pm Mass.

Please keep our Year 4 students in your prayers as they continue on their faith journey.

Regional Cross Country Finals

Yesterday two of our students, Ollie in Year 4 and Jude in Year 3 competed in the Eastern Regional Cross Country in the Under 9/10 age group. The event was held at Yara Glen Racecourse  and there were over 80 running in this event. Ollie and Jude had to run 2 kilometers around the racecourse. They both agreed it was a tough track and very competitive.

Congratulations to Ollie and Jude for making it to the Eastern Regional Finals, we are very proud of you.

Supporting Student Wellbeing

At St Justin's, student wellbeing is a priority. One of the tools we use to support students is the Children’s Wellbeing Continuum. This continuum helps children identify and communicate how they are feeling by providing a simple and age-appropriate ways to discuss emotions and wellbeing. Find out more . . .
