Principal’s Report
Mr Prasad
Dear students, parents and carers,
As we come to the end of Semester 1, I would like to state that our students have been given numerous opportunities to participate in curriculum and co-curricular activities. It is with great pride and joy that I reflect on the remarkable achievements and collective spirit that have defined the past months at Merrylands High School.
The Athletics Carnival was a highlight, showcasing our students’ remarkable athletic talents and fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and school spirit. Harmony Day celebrations brought our community together in a vibrant display of cultural diversity, with performances and a food festival that highlighted the rich tapestry of backgrounds within our school. These events, along with the numerous excursions provided invaluable learning opportunities, broadening our students’ horizons and igniting their passions.
In addition to these special events, our robust curriculum continues to challenge and inspire, supported by dedicated teachers who are committed to nurturing every student’s potential. As we look forward to the second half of the year, we remain excited about the many upcoming events and opportunities that await, including more engaging dance performances, excursions, collaborative projects and activities that will further enhance the educational journey of our students.
Thank you to our students, parents, and staff for their unwavering support and dedication. Together, we will continue to strive for excellence and create a positive, dynamic environment where every student can thrive.
Please enjoy the two-week term break as we all recharge and prepare for another exciting semester.
