Twlight Swimming Carnival
Thursday 12th February 2026
Our Twlight Swimming Carnival is held on Thursday 12th February and is one of the highlights of our school calendar. Staff and Students are encouraged to dress in house colours on the day as the carnival has something for everyone, from serious competition through to those who just want to help out their team by dressing up and supporting their house.
The carnival day will start as a normal school day until lunchtime. Students will then walk down to the pool in their house groups at 1pm with the carnival starting at 2pm, concluding around 8pm. Buses will not be running at the conclusion of the carnival so parents will need to organise alternate transport.
It is expected that students remain at the pool until the conclusion of the carnival. If your child needs to leave earlier they must provide a written note or be picked up by a parent or guardian after notifying the designated member of staff at the exit turnstile.
Their will be no staff to supervise students and no normal lessons will be conducted at school on Friday 13th February in lieu of the Twilight Carnival.
Permission notes for the carnival have been emailed to parents via school bytes, permission an payment for your child to attend needs to be given by Tuesday 10th February.
