The past two weeks have been highlighted by many opportunities for community connection and participation, with a range of wonderful events and activities bringing people together across our school.
Education Week Celebration

It was wonderful to welcome so many special visitors and family members into our school on Monday as part of Education Week celebrations. Children absolutely love seeing important people in their lives at school, and these opportunities help strengthen the connection between home and school. When families are involved in school life, students feel a greater sense of pride, belonging and confidence in their learning. It also sends a powerful message that education is valued and that we are all working together to support each child to thrive. Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us and be part of our learning community.
Cross Country Champions

Our recent school Cross Country event for students in Years 3-6 was a fantastic celebration of perseverance and school spirit. It was wonderful to see students challenging themselves, pushing beyond their comfort zones and giving their personal best, regardless of where they finished. Just as importantly, students showed tremendous encouragement for one another, cheering classmates on and celebrating each other’s efforts throughout the event. A big congratulations to all students for their participation and sportsmanship, and thank you to staff and families for your support on the day.
On Time and Ready to Learn
We have noticed an increase in the number of students are arriving after the 9:00am bell, with many students coming in around 9:05am. Arriving late disrupts the flow of morning routines and the start of learning sessions. Arriving on time helps students settle calmly, connect with their classmates, and begin the day successfully. We appreciate families making every effort to ensure students arrive before the bell so classes can begin smoothly and positively for everyone.
Supporting Connection and Community
A huge thank you to our Community Engagement Committee members for all of the work that has gone into planning the Parents’ Social Night this Saturday; it sounds like it is going to be a fantastic evening and a lot of fun!
The CEC has been extremely busy lately, with many exciting projects and activities happening across our school community. Their ongoing work plays such an important role in strengthening connections and creating opportunities for families to engage with school life. We encourage everyone to take some time to visit the CEC page and check out the many wonderful initiatives currently underway.
Thank you to all of our families and community members for the many ways you contribute to our school community. Your support and involvement continue to make our school such a connected and vibrant place.
