Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Carers,
🏆 Year 3–6 Athletics Carnival!
What a sensational day on the field! A huge congratulations to all our Year 3–6 students who gave it their all at Tuesday's Inter-House Athletics Carnival. The energy, determination, and sportsmanship on display were absolutely fantastic.
And the Winner Is...
After a nail-biting, closely contested day of events, Tara House (Red) emerged as the overall carnival champions! Congratulations to all the Tara athletes—and a massive shout-out to every single student who ran, hurdled, jumped, threw, and cheered their hearts out for their house and team mates.
👏 A Massive Thank You!
An event of this scale doesn't just happen by magic. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the team who made it all possible:
- Mr. Edwards (PE Teacher & Sports Coordinator): For his outstanding organization, vision, and flawless preparation leading up to the big day.
- The St. Patrick’s Staff: For their tireless, enthusiastic efforts on the day to ensure everything ran safely and smoothly.
- Thanks to the many parents and family members who also attended to support the students.
- A special thanks to Danny for his help with the setup and pack up on the day.
School Advisory Council and P&F Meetings
Last week, we hosted our Term 2 P&F and School Advisory Council meetings. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the parents and community members who took the time out of their busy schedules to attend and actively participate.
Your insights, constructive feedback, and thoughtful contributions are instrumental in guiding our school's strategic goals and future development. It is through this vital partnership between our families and school leadership that we can continue to enhance our programs and foster an environment where our students truly thrive.
Thank you for your ongoing support, dedication, and commitment to making our school community the best it can be.

School and MACS Policies update
St Patrick's follows policy and procedures as set out by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS), which are reviewed in a cyclical manner.
Two policies which have been recently reviewed by our staff include the Bullying Prevention Policy and Complaints Handling Policy. We are required to notify our community when policy reviews occur, especially when they relate to child safety.
A full published suite of policies can be found on our school website.
