Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church.

St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parish's ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Dear Families and Friends,

It is hard to believe that we are already towards the end of Term Two and close to halfway through the year! Time goes so quickly! Winter is certainly on it's way and to ensure students are warm and comfortable at school they should be wearing their full winter uniform. A reminder that only black shoes or runners are permitted as part of uniform.

Building Update

This building update highlights the progress made in the bathrooms. We have coloured doors in place and each toilet and sink area has been installed. On Wednesday the new seating in the Quad gathering space was put into place and concrete was poured connecting our new kitchen classroom, eating spaces and playground pathway.

Over the next few weeks there will be a lot of work commencing on an upgrade of our water and fire services. Plumbers will be digging and installing new pipes from Alfred Street up past the school office.  The areas will have bollards and safety mesh installed during the working phase to restrict access to the work. Please observe signage and avoid work areas. There may be interruptions to drop off and pick ups however these will be communicated on Dojo and Compass.

Mother's and Special Person's Day Afternoon Celebrations

Thank you to all our of visitors who joined us for the Mother's and Special Person's afternoon. We had over 95 visitors which is the largest we have had in over 6 years! It was so lovely to see so many happy faces in the classrooms doing activities together and then to join in the Quad to hear our beautiful choir sing.
