Only one week to go for Term 1. After the last couple of weeks we certainly do need a break!
What a fantastic few weeks we’ve had, though! Last week’s Whole School Athletics Day was a brilliant showcase of effort, determination, and school spirit. Well done to all students who participated and to the parents who either volunteered at an event or were there to cheer on our athletes.
(Don't forget, too, that House pride can be displayed all day, every day, with our initiative of having house name labels applied to your child's shirt or hat. See the House Updates page for more information.)
We also celebrated Harmony Day, embracing inclusivity and belonging. A huge thank you to our Curriculum Team for organising such a meaningful event.
Students were mesmerised by the Planetarium Incursion on Monday. A big thank you to Mr. M for bringing the wonders of space to our school.
A special shoutout to our District Cross Country runners from Grs 3-6—your effort and perseverance on Tuesday were outstanding! Some wonderful results from our students.
This week, renowned local artist BJ O'Toole has created two stunning Indigenous Murals to commemorate our school's 150th anniversary. This meaningful artwork will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come. The one on the shipping container reflects our two house mascots and the Barrabool Hills region, while the one facing the office represents the importance of community.
This afternoon, we welcome families to our Open Tour Afternoon from 2:00 pm, leading into our Whole School Assembly at 2:30 pm—we’d love to see you there!

If you have a sibling of a current student to be enrolled next year, then we ask that you notify the office earlier rather than later to give us a clear indication of potential numbers.
The Annual Report is a summary of the happenings, results and plans for the year past. All public schools must produce an Annual Report. Principals are required to certify that information in this report is the result of a rigorous school self-evaluation process and is a balanced and genuine account of the school's achievements and areas for development.

Reminder:
Our student led Assembly is today at 2:30 pm. Our assembly is an important part of our school. It is an opportunity to proactively reinforce our school values and expectations through the acknowledgement and celebration of our students and school.
As this is our last newsletter of the term, I would like to take the opportunity to wish all our students and their families a safe and happy Term 1/Easter break. See you all in Term 2!
