House Name labels

A friendly reminder that students can wear their house iron on patches on their school polos or hats. These can be ironed onto students' polos, underneath the Ceres logo or even on their school hats on the side.

It's great to see some students already wearing theirs!

2025 Foundation students (and other new students) will be given two labels and each student from Grs 1-6 will receive one. These will come home in the first week of term 2. Each student did receive two last year so maybe check the bottom of bags as they may still be there.

Lok-Lok

Wow... what a day we had at Athletics Day last week! We were beyond proud of the 'Respect, Resilience and Responsibility' our Lok Lok students showed at Goldsworthy Reserve as well as the sportsmanship.

To come away with the win was awesome and was very much deserved for all of the hard work and spirit we showed on the day. Thanks to Kanyul for a great contest and we already can't wait for next year.

A big congratulations to the following Lok Lok students who were the winners of the 'Aged Champions' in their age groups...

Eliza Worsley

Jordan Hickey

Vada Hansford

Spencer Francis

Amazing efforts from not only these students, but to ALL who got involved and gave it their best shot on the day. I was lucky enough to ask all of our aged champions what there favourite event was...

Eliza Worsley - 100m sprint

Jordan Hickey - High Jump

Vada Hansford - 100m and 200m sprint

Spencer Francis - Discuss

Kanyul

What an incredible end to Term 1 for Kanyul House!

Over the past fortnight, our students have shown passion, determination, and house pride, finishing the term on a high with some truly outstanding efforts.

SSA 3-6 Cross Country – Pushing the Limits!

Our runners left nothing in the tank at SSA 3-6 Cross Country, tackling the course with resilience and giving it their all. Whether securing top finishes, smashing personal bests, or simply refusing to give up, every Kanyul student should be incredibly proud of their efforts.

Whole-School Athletics – A Battle to the End!

Athletics Day brought out the best in Kanyul, with students showing incredible teamwork, encouragement, and sportsmanship across every event. While we fell just short of victory against a deserving Loklok Eagles House, Kanyul students never stopped pushing, cheering, and giving 100%. Respect, Resilience, and Responsibility were on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Celebrating Term 1 & Welcoming Back Chelsea!

As Term 1 wraps up, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the energy, commitment, and spirit that Kanyul students have brought to 2025. From settling into routines and excelling in sports, incursions and Harmony Day to supporting one another every step of the way, this term has set the tone for a fantastic year ahead.

A special welcome back to Chelsea, who returns after a well-earned break.

We can’t wait for her to bring even more enthusiasm and leadership to Kanyul in Term 2!

Rest up, recharge, and get ready for another huge term ahead.

Go Kanyul!
