Harmony Week 17th - 21st March

Harmony Week 17th - 21st March
Next week DCC will be recognising Harmony/Cultural diversity week.
Harmony Week is a national initiative which highlights inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, from the Traditional Owners of the land to our most recent arrivals.
Building on over 65,000 years of First Nations cultures, Australia has become home to migrants from nearly 300 different ancestries. Our cultural diversity is one of our greatest strengths and is at the heart of who we are. It makes Australia a great place to live.
On Friday 21st students are invited to wear culturally significant clothing or orange. Orange signifies meaningful conversations and relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect. Each day we will have a theme to guide us in rich conversations which promote mutual respect. We encourage you to continue these conversations with family and friends at home.
Harmony/Cultural diversity week is significant to us at DCC, and we look forward to celebrating with you all.
