District Swimming

On Friday 23rd Feb, MPW competed at the Ascot Vale School Sports District Swimming Carnival.

Our students showed great sporting attitudes throughout the day, with MPW finishing 2nd in the small schools division.  Well done to all our participants and good luck to Lilly A, Sophia B and Alexander T who have qualified to compete at Division Swimming next week.  Thanks to Carley and all the parent helpers and supporters.

5/6 Team Building

During Friday morning sport time, the Gr 5/6 classes have begun the year with some Team Building challenges. Each class competes against each other and at the completion of the challenge they do a self reflection – rating their classes performance in Working with others, Communication, Respect, Attitude to task and Self Reflection.  We look forward to our final round in Week 6.

Essendon Hockey Club Clinics

Last Thursday and Friday we had Chris and Tyson from Essendon Hockey Club visit us to conduct some clinics to various F/1, 2, 3/4 & 5/6 classes.  Our students had lots of fun playing games and learning new skills. Essendon is our closest Hockey club and if you are interested getting your child involved, they run junior programs for all age groups.
