Semester 1 Music Soiree

A small but very appreciative audience gathered in the Performing Arts Centre Auditorium on Tuesday night for the first ever Soiree to be held in the new building. The Soiree is a great tradition and features invited soloists to perform.

This year we were entertained by seven excellent performers on a range of instruments as ranging from Years 8 to 12. Our selected performers were:

Noah Vallance – Trumpet, Year 9

Oliver Jackson – Guitar, Year 9

Riley Hayes – Piano, Year 9

Rafael Pankhurst – Euphonium, Year 8

Oskar Folkes – Piano, Year 12

Ben Nixon – Saxophone, Year 12

Joseph Elliot – Saxophone, Year 12

It was particularly great to hear our VCE students refine the works for their end of year performance assessments.
