Principal's Message

Dear Families,

I want to take a moment to thank you all for your support and kindness over the past few weeks while I was on leave. Your well wishes have been very much appreciated, and I’m truly grateful to be part of such a caring school community. I’m really looking forward to being back with everyone and beginning an exciting Term 4 together.

A very big thank you to Melanie French, who stepped into the Acting Principal role while I was away. Melanie has done an outstanding job leading the school with dedication and care for both staff and students. I know our community has been in very good hands and I’m thankful for her leadership during this time.

I’d also like to acknowledge the incredible efforts of our staff and parent volunteers who have gone above and beyond to organise such wonderful events to finish off the term. Our Father’s Day breakfast, stall, and raffle were a huge success, and it was heartwarming to see so many families sharing the morning together. Footy Day was another highlight — a colourful and spirited way to finish the term, with students proudly representing their teams and enjoying the fun atmosphere. These events remind us of the joy and sense of belonging that come from coming together as a school community.

Looking ahead, Term 4 promises to be a big and exciting one. We will be welcoming our 2026 Prep families through our Prep Transition Program, an important milestone as we prepare our youngest learners to join our school. Our Year 3/4 students will be heading off to camp, creating special memories and experiences that will stay with them for years to come. We will also be celebrating and farewelling our Year 6 students as they prepare to graduate and take their next steps into secondary school which is a very special moment for our community. And of course, we’ll be ending the year with our Christmas Community Night — always a highlight, as we celebrate the year that has been with families, music and festive cheer.

Thank you once again for your ongoing support, generosity and involvement in our school. It is your contributions, whether big or small, that help make Seaford Park the welcoming and vibrant place it is. I can’t wait to see what the final term of the year brings as we continue to learn, grow and celebrate together.

Warm regards,
