Year 5/6 News

Roses Gap Camp
This week our Grade 5/6 students enjoyed their time on camp at Roses Gap in the Grampians National Park. They participated in lots of adventure activities such as abseiling, flying fox, giant swing, crate stack, archery, bush walking, raft building, vertical playpen and canoeing. The students should be proud of their willingness to try new things and challenge themselves. Lots of good times were had and many life-long memories were made.
We would like to thank Drew and the wonderful team at Roses Gap Camp for an amazing time! A big thank you also to our parent helpers, Kelly and Helen for volunteering their time to help make this camp an awesome experience for our students.
Echuca College Visit
Last week, Jesie Milligan from Echuca College visited the Grade 5/6 students to share insights about high school life and answer their questions. Jesie spoke about the exciting opportunities and challenges that come with starting Year 7, including subjects, teachers, and making new friends. The visit also gave students a chance to learn more about Echuca College’s upcoming Discovery Night on April 30th, where families can explore the school, meet staff, and experience what high school has to offer. It was a great opportunity for students to start thinking about their transition to secondary school.
