Dear Families,

It was my privilege to represent St Thomas The Apostle PS at the Diocesan Assembly on 14 & 15 February. Inspired by the conversations, deep listening and input through a year long consultation process a document prepared for the Diocesan Assembly to review,  reflect on, debate, discern the Holy Spirit within the conversations and to feedback to the Bishop and Diocesan Mission Council who will then identify the key priorities and leverage this into a plan to support the desire of the Diocese members for a humble, Christ-centred, missionary Church.

The prayers, reflections, shared experiences and desire for change and opportunities for missionary service was inspiring to experience. I join with the other delegates to joyfully submit to the Bishop and consultors our feedback, thoughts and dreams for a greater future to aid in identifying the pastoral priorities for the next 5 year period.

Parish Renewal 2025

This weekend sees the launch of our PARISH RENEWALPROGRAM – and we would love all our parish school families to be involved! The Program provides us with a great opportunity – as individuals and as a community - to reflect on the importance of our wonderful parish, as we engage in the present and plan for our future.

The Program runs for two weeks, covering themes central to parish life – FAITH, ENGAGEMENT and COMMITMENT. You will have the opportunity to hear how we all have a role to play in building a vibrant parish community, that meets the challenges of today and ensures a sustainable future for our children.

More information is in the flyer in the RE & Parish News section of the newsletter.

Under this funding, each eligible student is entitled to a $400 bonus for application towards activity levies and uniform purchases from approved supplier. Within our school, all CSEF applicants are eligible to receive this funding. All families who have a Centrelink Health Care Card and have not applied for CSEF in the past are encouraged to contact the school office and initiate an application this year.
