Principal's End-of-Year Message

As we reach the conclusion of another school year, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on what has been a significant and purposeful year for our college, and to thank our students, staff, families, and wider community for the commitment and trust you place in our school.

This year has been marked by steady progress, strong effort, and many moments of pride. Across classrooms, co-curricular programs, leadership opportunities and community events, our students have continued to demonstrate growth, resilience, and a willingness to rise to the challenge. Our staff have worked with unwavering professionalism and care, maintaining high expectations while supporting students to do their very best.

One of the highlights of the year has been our VCE results. We are particularly proud to celebrate an outstanding study score of 48 in VCE English—a remarkable achievement that reflects not only academic excellence, but sustained effort, intellectual curiosity and the strength of teaching and learning in our senior programs. Achievements such as this inspire confidence in what is possible when high expectations are matched with dedication and support.

As a school, we have also continued to strengthen the foundations for long-term improvement. This year has seen continued focus on teaching and learning, student engagement, wellbeing, and building a positive professional culture. These are not quick wins; they are deliberate, long-term commitments that position our college well for the future.

Looking ahead, we are pleased to share that our building upgrade will commence over the holiday period. This important work represents a significant investment in our learning environment and will further enhance the spaces in which students learn and staff work. We look forward to welcoming students back in the new year to facilities that better reflect our aspirations for high-quality education and a school of choice for our community. 

As we move into the holiday break, I encourage families to take time to rest, reconnect and enjoy the moments that matter most. To our staff, I extend my sincere thanks for your dedication, professionalism, and care throughout the year. To our students, congratulations on a year of growth and learning—you should be proud of your efforts.
