PRODUCTION

Down the Rabbit Hole

TONIGHT: Thursday 14 November,  7:00pm

We’re all set for what promises to be a wonderful evening for the POPS community! The hard work put into rehearsals will be showcased tonight, and from all reports, it will be spectacular. Drop-off and pick-up arrangements were sent via Compass yesterday, so please review those details to ensure everything runs smoothly. Please be aware there is construction work on the south side of the theatre, therefore guests will enter via the Northern side. Please be aware there is limited parking so it is a good idea to park on the street. As they say in the theatre, "Chookas and break a leg!"

Acknowledgement of Country

Thank you to the Parents' Association for funding our Acknowledgement of Country sign, now placed at the top entrance on Bowmore Avenue. The wording for theAcknowledgement was thoughtfully composed by our Year 5/6 classes, while the artwork, created by Stacey P (mother of Lucy 3G), is inspired by her original painting displayed in the school foyer.

At POPS, we feel deeply grateful to learn from Aboriginal community members who generously share their knowledge and culture with us, enriching our understanding of Australia's First Nations peoples.

POPS 6/7 TRANSITION SESSION

As part of POPS transition from primary to secondary school program we have planned an afternoon transition session, where the year 7 students who attended POPS in 2023 will come and talk to our current year 6 students about their experiences at secondary school. We also invite year 6 parents to meet with year 7 parents at the same time in the staff room. They will listen to year 7 parents share their experiences. This session will take place Thursday November 21 4- 5:00pm. More information will be posted via Compass.
