We are well into Term 4, and it’s shaping up to be an exciting and memorable way to close out the school year. With a calendar full of special events, performances, and programs, there’s plenty for everyone to look forward to. Be sure to read the newsletter each week for the latest event details, and don’t forget to regularly check the Parent Sentral calendar for any updates or changes to dates and times. We are thrilled to share this vibrant term with our school community and can’t wait to come together in celebration of our students’ achievements.
Celebrate cultural heritage with parading, performances, and more! If you are a student, staff member, or family member with a cultural dress that celebrates your ancestry, please wear it on the day and join the fun! Please see our calendar page for details.
Focus of this Community Hub is ‘Getting ready for the new school year’
Topics include:
Learn how to support your child for the best start to learning in 2026!
A special morning tea to thank all parents and community helpers who have volunteered at our school in 2025. We appreciate your support! Please see our calendar page for details.

We are excited to announce that every student from Kindergarten to Year 6 will have the opportunity to perform with a live band! It promises to be a fun and memorable evening filled with music, singing, and great community spirit. We encourage all families to come along and support our young performers as they showcase their skills on stage.
Join us for an evening of wonderful performances as we celebrate the year!
The End of Year Concert is a fantastic opportunity to join the band! We would love to have more parents come and share the fun.

At this time of the year, we start planning our classes and staffing for the next school year. Our dedicated teachers engage in a thoughtful process to create balanced classes, taking into account student needs, available resources, and the overall dynamics of the classroom. This approach helps ensure that each child benefits from a variety of teaching styles and experiences, enhancing their educational progress.
Please note that in some cases, composite classes (a mix of different grades) may be necessary. These classes can provide valuable opportunities for collaboration and peer learning, allowing students to thrive in a diverse learning environment.
We understand that each child has unique needs, and we are happy for you to share any factors you believe should be considered when forming classes for the next year. If you have specific requests or considerations, please feel free to reach out to me. You may email the school, note ‘Attention Miss Parada’. While we cannot guarantee specific placements, we will do our best to accommodate your input. Please let me know by Friday 28 November.
To assist with planning for staffing and classes, all our families are asked to indicate whether or not their child will be continuing their education at Meadowbank Public School in 2026 or starting later than Monday 2 February 2026.
Please complete this form: https://forms.gle/5XESoXLtdAEjc7Dc8 by Friday 14 November 2025. Please fill out one form per child. This is not necessary for any student in Year 6 (2025).
