Mount View’s 60-Year Celebration

Thank you to our students, staff and community for helping us celebrate 60 years of Mount View Primary School. It was a special opportunity to reflect on our school’s rich history and the many students, staff, and families who have been part of our community over the decades.

Over the coming weeks, we will proudly unveil our collaborative art piece, led by our talented Visual Arts teachers and created by every student in the school. A highlight of the celebrations was our whole-school photo taken on the oval, capturing all current students and staff together to mark this special occasion.

Parents Association returns in 2026

We are excited to share that the Mount View Primary School Parents Association will return in 2026.

You are invited to a meeting in the staffroom at 6.30pm on Tuesday the 18th of November to discuss:

-          The purpose of the Parents Association

-          Explore communication channels eg WhatsApp, WeChat

-          Plan an event or activity for the start of the 2026 school year

Prep Transition 

We are now more than halfway through our Prep Transition Program, and we love to see our 2026 Prep students grow in confidence as they prepare to start school next year. The children have been spending time enjoying school activities, connecting with teachers, and making new friends.

Our Prep families are also being warmly welcomed into the Mount View community. They have been attending informal information sessions and enjoying opportunities to meet other families and learn more about school life. Starting school is a special time and we look forward to welcoming our Prep students and their families to Mount View in 2026.

School Disco

 A huge thank you to our SRC leaders for organising the junior and senior disco held in the gym today. They are to be congratulated for their hard work and preparation to ensure that everyone enjoyed the singing and dancing. The Zooper Doopers were also very popular and we thank everyone for coming along and having fun.

Congratulations to Phoenix

Phoenix recently competed in the National SSV Swimming Championship, where he achieved an outstanding result — winning four gold medals and two silver medals. We are extremely proud of Phoenix who is an excellent ambassador for our school. We congratulate him on his achievement and dedication.
