Welcome to the 2026 OSHC Program

Welcome to the 2026 Warrandyte Primary School Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program. We are excited to begin another year of providing a safe, supportive and engaging environment for children before and after school. Our program aims to create a space where students can relax, play, connect with friends and participate in a range of enjoyable activities that complement their school day.

Our vision is to provide a nurturing and inclusive program where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to explore their interests. Through play-based experiences and meaningful interactions, we aim to foster independence, creativity and a strong sense of belonging within our school community.

Sun Safe Play at OSHC

At Warrandyte Primary School OSHC, we are committed to providing a safe environment for children while they enjoy outdoor play. As part of our SunSmart approach, all children are required to wear a broad-brimmed or legionnaire-style hat when playing outside during the warmer months. Children without a suitable hat will be asked to play in shaded areas to ensure they remain protected from the sun. Sunscreen is also available and encouraged before outdoor activities, and children are supported by educators to apply sunscreen as needed. These practices align with the school’s SunSmart policy, helping to promote healthy habits and protect students from harmful UV exposure while they participate in outdoor activities.
