Earth Day 2026
Today, Wednesday 22 April, we celebrate Earth Day 2026. This year’s theme, Our Power, Our Planet, highlights the importance of each of us doing our part to care for the environment. It reminds us that real, lasting progress happens when individuals and communities continue to take action, no matter how big or small. Families can get involved at home by reducing waste, packing nude food lunches, turning off lights and devices when not in use, saving water, recycling correctly and spending time caring for gardens or local green spaces. Together, our choices make a difference. This is our power, and this is our planet.
Thank you
At our school, we are always looking for opportunities to upcycle materials and make more sustainable choices in our everyday practices. A big thank you to the Bajoras Family for their generous donation of an outdoor play kitchen and cubby house for our Prep play space. We greatly appreciate this thoughtful gesture and have no doubt our students will enjoy these wonderful additions for many years to come. Our Year 6 Art Leaders will also be undertaking a special project to paint and decorate these items, adding an extra touch of creativity and magic. Stay tuned!
