WE WANT OUR PARENTS / CAREGIVERS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK!
Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.
Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.
The Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 18 August to Friday 19 September 2025.
All families are invited to participate in the survey.
The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.
The online survey will be available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Resources are also available in additional languages to assist parents / caregivers / guardians who speak a language other than English at home. Please reach out to the front office for survey guides in your language. Linda Garland our Family Support Co-ordinator and Hannah Awi our Multi Cultural Education Aide (Hakha Chin speaking) are available to support you with accessing the survey if you need help with this. Please contact the front office if you would like more information.
We are continuing to have a few issues with the temperature of our new pool. On Monday next week we have the pool air/heating consultants coming out and we hope to resolve this. At the moment, the pool is heating up towards the end of the school week, but at the beginning of the week it is too cool for students and staff to comfortably use. This has been a bit disappointing for students and the swim staff team and we are looking forward to letting you know when everything is working well and the swimming sessions can happen as timetabled.
In our school driveway the speed limit is 5 km/hour or walking pace. We will be installing speed limit signs soon in our new drop off/ pick up zone, but want to remind all drivers to enter and drive through the driveway at no more than 5km/ hour. Safety of our students, families and staff is very important to us!
