Assistant Principal's Report

Final 2 Weeks

With only 2 weeks of Term 3 remaining everyone is working tirelessly to make the most of all learning opportunities as well as eagerly looking forward to some more special events. In week 10 we are having footy colours day on Tuesday 15th September, where students can come to school dressed in their favourite football team's colours. 

We are also holding an open afternoon as part of Science Week on Wednesday 16th September, between 4:00 - 5:30pm, where classrooms will be open after school for families to participate in various science experiments. Our Out of School Hours Care Provider 'TheirCare' will also be holding a sausage sizzle as part of the event. We look forward to seeing may families attend.

Father's Day

I would also like to wish all the father's, grandfather's and special family members a Happy Father's Day for this Sunday. We hope you all have a wonderful day and get to spend some quality family time together. Looking forward to seeing many of you able to attend our morning tea on Friday mornng at school

Divisional Athletics

2 weeks ago our Albion North athletes participated in the district athletics carnival held at the Newport Athletics Track. Upon arrival back at school at the end of the day there were many ribbons being proudly worn by our students, indicating that they had had an extremely successful day. We now have 22 students progressing to the divisional athletics carnival to be held next Tuesday. This includes several of our relay teams as well as individual competitiors, some participating in multiple events. We would like to wish all students competing the very best and look forward to hearing about your experience. Well done on your achievements so far.
