Company Meeting
The AGM and General Meeting of PVCE will be held on Thursday, 21 May 2026 at 7:30pm in the secondary library. All families are welcome, and invited to join us for supper after the meeting.
Canteen to Café
There is a saying, “If there were no change, there would be no butterflies.” While it may sound a little cheesy, in a season of growth and change it can be reassuring—especially for those who find change unsettling. Change is rarely easy, yet it is essential for growth. It pushes us beyond our comfort zones, inviting us to try new things, and in doing so, we are refined and strengthened in both our faith and our learning. Through these experiences, we become better equipped to stand firm when the next season of change comes our way.
Here at Plenty Valley Christian College, we hold closely to the words of Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
We look back with great joy and gratitude on the many years of service provided by our Canteen—and, most importantly, by our wonderful Canteen staff. They have offered far more than hot dogs and dim sims. They have shared friendly smiles with students on tough days, a listening ear or comforting shoulder for staff in difficult seasons, and heartfelt laughter over shared stories.
Today, we honour and give thanks for our dedicated Canteen staff, including Clara, Pina, and recently retired Denise. From the little canteen window, they have faithfully served our community for many years. We are deeply grateful that they will continue to be part of our school life in the new café location.
As this season shifts, we eagerly anticipate how God will continue to work through this new time of growth at Plenty Valley. We give thanks for His abundant provision in the new café and look forward to seeing this space become a place where new memories are made—while also being thankful for the humble beginnings from which it has grown.
Mother’s Day Stall Wrap‑Up & Honouring Our Mums
Our College community enjoyed a wonderful week of celebration as students visited the Mother’s Day Stall to choose something special for the incredible women in their lives. It was a joy to see the excitement on students’ faces as they carefully selected gifts and wrote heartfelt messages of thanks.
A huge thank‑you to our parent volunteers and staff who helped prepare, set up and run the stall. Your time, generosity and cheerful service made the experience meaningful for every child.
As a school, we also take this moment to honour and celebrate the mums, grandmothers, carers and mother‑figures in our community. Your love, guidance and faith shape our children in ways that matter deeply. We are grateful for the countless ways you nurture, encourage and support your families each day.
We hope all our mums felt appreciated and blessed this Mother’s Day. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community.
