What a busy and exciting first three weeks of Term 4 we have had in terms of school Sport and PE at Sacred Heart.  

In classes students have been involved in Basketball Clinics and Hot Shots Tennis lessons whilst on Fridays our top athletics have been able to show ability against students from all over the region.  

Divisional Athletics:  

What an amazing day we had at Wangaratta on Friday 11th October with some outstanding results in the Divisional Athletics meet. 

We had 40 students represent Sacred Heart and they did a magnificent job. 

27 of those students have progressed through to the Regional Athletics. 

All 6 of our Boys and Girls Relay teams managed to progress which was a sensational achievement. 

 

Regional Athletics:  

 

Congratulations to all our students who participated in the Hume Region Athletics on Friday at Albury. In extremely tough conditions and in between rain breaks our students did a magnificent job.  

We managed to have 9 students' progress through to the State Finals which will be held on Wednesday 6th November at Albert Park.  

Anabelle Kennedy  U9/10 Girls 100m & 800m 

Amelie Coll U11 Girls 800m, 1500m and Relay.  

Summer New U12/13 200m, 800m and Relay.  

Under 11 Girls Relay - Edie Thomson, Lily Leslie, Tippi Simmons & Amelie Coll. 

Under 12/13 Girls Relay - Summer New, Sienna Gallagher, Lyla Payne & Ruby Phillips.  

 

*In other fantastic news our Under 11 Girls team managed to break a 16-year Hume Region record. Congratulations girls!!!  

We wish all of these girls all the best for their State Athletics experience.
