Happy World Teachers Day! 

The students of DPS have met throughout the week and produced a list of statements all about their teachers in celebration of World Teachers Day today.

Here are some of the comments from students: 

"The best thing about DPS teachers is they make everything fun and care about their students."

"The teachers at DPS make me feel proud, safe and welcomed every day. "

"One time at DPS a teacher encouraged me to do something when I wasn't feeling confident. I am so happy for their thoughtful encouragement." 

"The types of teachers I've had on my journey at DPS are enthusiastic, amazing and inspiring." 

"The best thing a teacher ever said to me was: Believe in yourself." 

"The best thing about DPS teachers is they are caring, intelligent and they always make sure everything is ok." 

"The teachers at DPS make me feel empowered." 

"One time at DPS a teacher encouraged me to follow my dreams." 

"The types of teachers I've had on my journey at DPS have shaped me to be myself and this is me." 

"The best thing a teacher ever said to me was: You can do it if you put your mind to it."
