Overdue Books

Overdue Library books need to be returned to the library by Wednesday 13th December. Students are provided with reminders throughout the year, and SMS and letters are sent home for items long overdue.

If you think you might have an overdue book, or may have lost a book, students need to speak with Library staff.

Holiday borrowing

Students are able to borrow up to 5 books for the Summer holidays. The last day to borrow is Wednesday 13th December.

The BIG Summer Read is a state-wide challenge for students. Track your reading over the summer school holidays and join Melton Library for some fun activities to earn extra rewards and prizes!

Download the Beanstack mobile app or visit the Beanstack website. Use your email address to sign in or create a new Beanstack account to register for the BIG Summer Read. 

Read as many books as you can over the summer school holidays and log them in the Beanstack app. Don’t forget, graphic novels and audiobooks count too!

Read and log 10 books between 1 December 2023 and 31 January 2024 to enter the prize draw.

Don't have the app? Don't worry! Mr DeLeon in the library has copies of the paper version of the reading log.
