Year 4 Camp
Last week our Year 4 students engaged in an exciting three-day camp at Phillip Island Adventure Resort. The camp was a fantastic opportunity for the students to challenge themselves, build resilience, and create lasting memories with their peers and staff.
Throughout the camp, students participated in a variety of fun activities, including the Giant Swing, Single Flying Fox, Archery and Ponding. They also enjoyed a visit to Amaze N Things.
A huge thank you goes out to our dedicated staff for their organisation and commitment to ensuring the camp was a success. Special recognition to Miss Lazzaro, Mrs A, Mrs Waugh, and two Year 4 parents for making this camp such a memorable experience for our students. Your hard work and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated!
Team Kids
Please be advised that, now that the ramp works have concluded, TeamKids will continue to operate their program from the BER.
Due to increased attendance numbers in the afternoons, the original TeamKids space is no longer large enough to comfortably accommodate the program. The BER provides the additional space needed while also offering greater proximity to the playgrounds and continued access to the oval.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to TeamKids continuing to enjoy the BER space.
Book Week 2026 - A Symphony of Stories
We’re excited to celebrate CEPS Book Week 2026 – A Symphony of Stories with our students, families and school community.
Grandparents and Special Persons Morning - Tuesday 25 August from 8.15am
We warmly invite grandparents and special persons to join us for a special morning at CEPS. The Book Fair will be open from 8.15am–9.50am, providing an opportunity to browse and purchase books before the parade. It will also reopen after school.
Book Character Parade - Tuesday 25 August at 9.10am on the Basketball courts
Our grandparents, parents/carers and special persons are invited to attend the Book Character Parade and enjoy seeing our students celebrate their favourite books and characters.
Following the parade, students will return to their classrooms. Grandparents and special friends are then invited to join us for refreshments in the hall.
Book Fair - Monday 24 August to Thursday 27 August.

Please note: On Tuesday 25 August, the Book Fair will open early at 8.15am for our Grandparents and Special Persons Morning.

2026 Parent/Caregiver Survey - Help us Celebrate and Shape Our School
Last year, we received only 13 survey responses. This year, we want to hear from everyone! The survey officially opens on Monday, 17 August.
Your feedback helps us celebrate what our school does well and highlights where we can grow. It only takes a few minutes; your privacy is fully protected, and every voice helps us build a stronger community.
Please keep an eye out for further communication closer to this date for instructions on how to participate. We see this as an important opportunity to celebrate all that is great about our school, including our students, staff and families.
Playground Upgrade Update
We are currently receiving submissions for the proposed playground upgrade. Three suppliers were invited to provide quotations, and we have received two proposals to date. An example of one of the proposed designs is shown below at this stage
The project is being developed with a strong focus on how students currently use the playground. In particular, our objective has been to significantly increase the number of monkey bars and flip bars, as these are consistently among the most popular and heavily used pieces of equipment.
We will continue to review the submissions carefully to ensure the final design provides the best possible play opportunities for our students while representing good value for the school community.
