Manningham Division Swimming:

Well done to everyone that competed at Manningham Division Swimming on Monday 2nd March @ Aquanation, Ringwood A Huge Shout Out to the following students that have progressed to Eastern Regional Swimming on Tuesday 31st March @ Aquanation. All the best and we look forward to hearing how you all go.

Milgate House Swimming:

On Wednesday 25th March we have our annual House Swimming Competition for all our Yr. 3 – 6 students at Croydon Memorial Pool. This is a great event which allows the students to represent their house in a fun competition. There are many events offered which cater really well for all students. We will be talking to the students during PE about this event and it is one of our 3 compulsory house events run throughout the year.

• Leisure Pool Events: cork scramble, torpedo, freestyle & running relay (you don’t need to be able to swim to enter these events)
• Swimming Events: 25m freestyle, 25m backstroke, 25m breaststroke, 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke & 50m breaststroke

Templestowe District Tennis:

On Friday 6th March, Jesse K, George Q, Elena L & Harper C competed in the Templestowe District Tennis Round Robin @ Serpell Tennis Club. All students played some terrific tennis and were a real credit to Milgate PS. A big congratulations to Jesse who won the Boys Competition, George Q who was runner up in the Boys Competition and Harper C who was runner up in the Girls Competition. These three students will now compete in the Manningham Division Tennis Round robin on Friday 15th May. All the best and we look forward to hearing how you all go.

Yr. 5 Mt Bike Day:

On Friday 6th March, 14 Yr. 5 students participated in our Mt Biking Outdoor Elective Program. The students were amazing throughout the day, and we rode many of the single tracks on the way to Westerfolds Park. Many of these trails pushed to students and improved their Mt Biking skills, which was great to see. We had lunch at Westerfolds Park and then made our way back to Milgate via variety of trials. Well done to everyone involved and many thanks to Mr. Xu & James Foster-Green for their support throughout the day.
