We need your help!

Parents and Friends Association (PFA)

Next Wednesday, the PFA will be running our annual Mother’s Day Stall. This is an opportunity for students to buy small gifts for their Mum, Grandmother, or other special person in their life.

The stall runs during the school day, with the assistance of parent volunteers who can help children with their purchases. Each class has an allocated time to visit.

The gifts range from $2 - $10. Items available include jewellery, photo frames, magnets, hand cream, mugs, keyrings, socks, bookmarks and MUCH MORE!

If you would like your child to have the opportunity to participate, please send along some money in a labelled envelope or wallet and a bag, to take their goodies home in. Coins and small notes are appreciated. Please do not bring large amounts of cash to school.

The stall will be open for a short time at the end of the school day to purchase any excess items.

We hope you enjoy a nice surprise on Mother’s Day!

The PFA still needs your help to run the Mother’s Day Stall, especially the 2:30pm to 4pm shift. Please reach out to Ebby if you can help.

Mother's Day Stall

More about us…

The “PFA” is the Parents and Friends Association made up of a group of volunteer parents and carers of children who attend Ivanhoe Primary School, together with a few staff members. Our purpose is to organise social events throughout the year which provide us with an opportunity to build connectedness and a sense of belonging in the IPS community. Any fundraising which results from these events is an added bonus and is applied to implement various building, playground and equipment improvements throughout the school.

We will share specific fundraising goals and purposes as each event approaches.

Would you like to be involved?

It’s not too late! Please email Sue Kelly sue.kelly@education.vic.gov.au if you are interested in joining the PFA on its journey to making 2026 a fun-filled year!

Welcome to our 2026 PFA Committee

We are very grateful to the following parents who have kindly volunteered to be part of our Parents and Friends Association (PFA) Committee in 2026.

The PFA plays an important role in our school community. Through their time, ideas and enthusiasm, these parents help organise events and fundraising activities that support our school while also bringing families, staff and students together. Their contribution helps strengthen the sense of community that makes our school such a special place.

Thank you to:

Emily Stothers, Hayley Williams, Lauren Villanti, Gabrielle Elliott, Kylie Zammataro, Suzie Leahy, Ebby Lai, Thalia Boyd, Sharon Marks, Tracey Peachey, Ruth Osborne, Jacqui Liistro, Selina Parry, Christie Knox.

We sincerely thank each of these parents for their willingness to contribute their time and energy to our school community.
