St Michael's School will celebrate Grandparents and Special Friends Day on Friday 7th August, 2026.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day was established to honour the important role that grandparents and special friends play in our lives. The day is celebrated as close as possible to 26 July, the Feast of Saints Anne and Joachim, the grandparents of Jesus. It is a special opportunity for us to give thanks for the love, wisdom and support they share with us, and to celebrate the important connections between generations. We look forward to welcoming our grandparents and special friends to
St Michael's as we celebrate together in prayer and as a community.
We would like to create a Google Slide presentation using photos of the students with their grandparents and special friends. The presentation will be included in our Prayer Liturgy on Friday 7th August.
Please share your photos by emailing, with the names of the children, grandparents and special friends to rhickey@smashburton.catholic.edu.au
