Principal's Message to the School Community

Dear Parents and Carers,

We would like to remind families that our school implements Victoria’s Statewide Mobile Phone Policy, which is available to view on our school website.

This policy supports student learning, wellbeing and engagement by ensuring mobile phones are not a distraction during the school day. We appreciate the important role families play in reinforcing these expectations and ask that you continue to support your child in adhering to the policy requirements.

Definition

A mobile phone is a telephone with access to a cellular (telecommunication) system, with or without a physical connection to a network. For the purpose of this policy, “mobile phone” refers to mobile phones and any device that may connect to or have a similar functionality to a mobile phone such as smart watches.

If your child needs to contact you during the school day, they can do so through the school office. Likewise, if you need to pass on an urgent message, please contact the office and we will ensure your child receives it promptly.
