District and Division Swimming
I am thrilled to congratulate our students on their fantastic efforts at the recent District and Division swimming events. Their enthusiasm and positive spirit shone through in every race.
A special highlight this year was the success of our relay team — the first relay team in many years to compete so strongly at this level. Their performance was a proud moment and hopefully a sign of things to come.
Well done to all swimmers who represented our school with pride. You’ve achieved something special, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for you in the pool.
From the Grade 5 Grand Prix Excursion
On Thursday 5 of March, the Grade 5 students went to Albert Park and watched the Grand Prix car racing in the city. The bus ride was 1 hour and a half but the ride was worth it. When we arrived we had a quick snack and headed to the Dorito tower. If you are wondering the Dorito tower is a 21 meter building advertising Doritos where you can see the whole track. After that we got sent off to explore in some groups. There was a Kit-Kat parlour which was full of Kit-Kat things, there was a ramen stall were you can get free ramen noodles or ramen keychain. There was a Lego place that we unfortunately didn’t have time to go to. And lastly a massive highlight was the robotic centre, where there was lots of robots. Then we had lunch and watched the car race.
We definitely recommend you to go to the Grand Prix 😀👍😎

On Thursday the 5th of March the Grade 5's went on an excursion to the Grand Prix at Albert Park. When we arrived we went straight to the Dorito tower it was 21 metres high.
Lots of things were free including free noodles, charms, hat, drink bottle and more.
Next we saw some V8 cars doing practice laps. Walking to pitstop park we saw some old Ferrari and Porsche. At the pitstop park there were lots of simulators including drive an F1 car and drone simulator. After we had lunch, we went up in the grandstands but no cars raced so we went back down and took the bus back to school. We had a awesome time there and we recommend you should go to the Grand Prix too.
