Mr Hyatt

It's Time to Say Goodbye to 2024!

As we stand at the close of another school year, I find myself filled with gratitude, pride, and a sense of accomplishment for all that we have achieved together. This year has been a journey marked by learning, growth, and resilience—qualities that define our school community and make it truly special.

First and foremost, let us take a moment to celebrate the incredible milestones reached by our students. From academic successes and artistic endeavors to athletic victories and community service, our students have demonstrated passion, dedication, and the willingness to strive for excellence. Each achievement, whether big or small, is a testament to their hard work and the unwavering support of their families and teachers.

I would also like to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of our teachers and staff. Your commitment to nurturing young minds, fostering curiosity, and providing a safe and supportive environment is the backbone of our school. This year, all of you have gone above and beyond, adapting to challenges with creativity and perseverance. You are the heart of this institution, and for that, I thank you.

The end of the school year is a time to reflect on how far we’ve come, not just in academics but as individuals and as a community. Challenges and changes have tested us, but they have also brought opportunities to learn and grow. Resilience, empathy, and collaboration are lessons that extend beyond the classroom, and I am proud to see these values thriving in our school.

As we head into the Christmas break, I encourage each of you to take time to rest, recharge, and reflect. For our graduating Year 6 students, this marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Carry the lessons you’ve learned here with you, and know that you will always be a part of our school family. To those returning next year, I look forward to continuing our journey together, building on the strong foundation we have created.

To our parents and grandparents, thank you for your partnership, trust, and involvement in your children’s education. Your role is vital, and your support has been instrumental in our collective success.

To our students, you are the reason we come together every day. Your curiosity, determination, and joy inspire us to be better educators and leaders. As you step into the next phase of your lives, carry with you the confidence that you are capable of achieving great things.

As we bid farewell to this school year, let us remember the moments of connection, learning, and celebration that have defined it. Together, we have built a community that values knowledge, kindness, and growth. Let’s carry these values into the future as we continue to support one another and strive for excellence.

Have a wonderful break, and I look forward to seeing many of you in the new school year. To our graduates, best wishes on your next adventure. Remember, the door to our school will always be open to you.

I better start getting organised for my next adventure!
