Division Athletics

Congratulations to the 16 athletes who proudly represented POPS at the Combined Maroondah/Manningham Division Track and Field Carnival on Thursday 8 October at Bill Sewart Athletics Track in East Burwood.

Under ideal conditions, our students demonstrated determination, resilience and athletic ability as they competed against talented athletes from across the six Districts. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and achievements!

Outstanding Achievements:

• Poshiya S (9/10 Girls) – 1st place in 100m and 200m
• Zach C (11 Boys) – 2nd place in hurdles
• Danny M (11 Boys) – 2nd place in 100m
• Chloe C (11 Girls) – 2nd place in 1500m
• Zahli C (11 Girls) – 2nd place in 800m
• Summer M (11 Girls) – 2nd place in 100m

• 9/10 Girls Relay Team (Summer M, Milla C, Zahli C and Chloe C) – 1st place in 4x 100m relay

   

A special congratulations to these students who secured top results and qualified for the Eastern Region Track and Field Carnival at Knox Athletics Track. We wish them the very best of luck as they compete at Region level!

Well done to all 16 athletes who represented POPS with pride. Your hard work, commitment and determination are to be commended, and we look forward to following the success of our athletes at the next stage of competition!
